My Story
Hi! My name is Emily. I am a Midwest born, turned California girl, and now recently back to the Midwest! My husband, Chris, and I married in 1998 where we lived until early 2021 when we moved back to the Midwest. We are now in a cute little suburb of Kansas City, Ks and loving the Midwest life!
My Scentsy Story began several years ago when a friend who was a consultant at the time gifted me a Mini Warmer and some wax. She stopped selling it, but a couple of years later I was invited to brunch one day and seated next to this sweet gal with no idea how my life would change!
We became friends and fast forward to late 2019 when I began to think about ways to help out with the family income. My husband and I ran a car service and I had a small handmade jewelry business. In 2020 our business unfortunately failed due to the pandemic. I took a job at a local business that turned out to be a nightmare with an inappropriate boss and hostile working conditions. On the day my time there ended I opened Facebook to decompress and put the day behind me and there was a post from my friend (and now sponsor!) with a business opportunity to join Scentsy. It seemed meant to be and the rest as they say is history!
I am loving the Scentsy life! Freedom to stay at home and homeschool our son, and no workplace drama! I am my own boss, make my own hours, and have great opportunities to meet great people and take exciting vacations! I can't wait to see where it takes me!
